Late-Victorian Bristol-style blue art glass with hand-painted raised enamel blossoms and an optic-ribbed pedestal form. Sold as-is for a rim flake — priced accordingly.
An antique late-Victorian pedestal vase in semi-opaque "Bristol style" robin's-egg blue art glass, hand-decorated with raised white enamel anemone blossoms, soft green foliage, and tiny purple accent flowers, finished with a delicate band of white enamel beading around the foot. The molded optic-rib body catches the light in alternating bands of pale and deeper blue, and the sheared, ground rim and inscribed number to the base are hallmarks of hand-finished workshop glass from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Most likely English Bristol or Bohemian in origin, it's the kind of romantic, history-rich piece that anchors a grandmillennial mantel, a cottagecore shelf, or a cabinet of curiosities. Sold as-is: please note a flake of glass missing from the rim edge, along with light surface wear and some interior haze/cloudiness consistent with age; the exterior enamel itself remains thick and well preserved.
