The Original Apple Baker handcrafted stoneware baking dish from Paris, Maine. Features a cream-colored interior with a beautiful cobalt blue and white swirled rim and the distinctive raised center post. Simply core an apple, place it over the center column, add your favorite cinnamon, sugar, butter or other toppings, and bake. The ceramic center helps cook the apple from the inside as well as the outside. Created by Maine potter Scott Currie, who made the first Original Apple Baker in 1979 at Christian Ridge Pottery in South Paris, Maine.
