Vtg reproduction Robert E Lee letter

Vintage reproduction of General Order No. 9 - Robert E Lee’s farewell letter to the northern Virginia troops, on April 10, 1865, following his surrender at Appomattox. This reproduction is likely from the 1950s, as is evidenced by its vintage wood frame. The paper has an aged patina and the gold paint on the frame is faded. Outside frame measurement approximately 10” x 12”.
