Carved Alabaster Nefertiti Bust Egyptian

A hand carved stone bust of Queen Nefertiti in warm honey alabaster, banded with cream and translucent enough to glow when it catches light. The profile is cleanly cut, from the tall crown down through the collar and the sculpted neck, seated on a stepped hexagonal base carved from the same stone. Natural veining and mineral inclusions run through the piece, and a small natural fissure shows in the base, which is characteristic of alabaster rather than damage. Light surface wear consistent with age.
